In Review: A Conversation on Bridging the Gap within the 'Digital Divide'​

The concept of digital inclusion refers to the idea that all members of a community should have adequate access to digital tools and services. In an ever-increasingly interconnected world, these resources are necessary to ensure that each member of a community can connect and communicate with other individuals, receive and share important information, and make use of online educational and work-related technologies.

As we adapt to new ways of connecting as a result of the pandemic, there exists a unique opportunity for us to reimagine how we can bridge the gap of this digital divide. For the Global Shapers Atlanta hub, this opportunity came in the form of a community discussion on the topic of digital inclusion.

On Monday, March 8th 2021, our hub hosted a talk as part of the Davos Dialogues series- a program that seeks to inspire an international discourse around ways to rethink our current systems in the wake of the current global pandemic.
