Local
Global Shapers Atlanta is a community that seeks to meet the unique needs of Atlanta by using our diverse strengths and amplifying impact through our global network.
The Atlanta chapter launched in 2012 under the leadership of Mayor Kasim Reed, Ambassador Andrew Young and Operation HOPE Founder, Chairman and CEO John Hope Bryant, as well as other notable community leaders.
The Atlanta Hub currently has 36 active members with diverse backgrounds. Collectively, our experience ranges from the worlds of non-profit to Fortune 500, in disciplines from finance to education, and across industries from aviation to arts. Members of this hub are committed to addressing the greatest issues facing the city.
Global
Founded by the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers Community is a network of young people under the age of 30 working together to address local, regional, and global challenges. With more than 10,000 members and alumni, the Global Shapers Community spans over 400 city-based hubs in 150 countries.
