Who are the Shapers?

Founded in 2012 and an initiative of the World Economic Forum, the Atlanta Hub of the Global Shapers Community is a group of young leaders (18-27) that seeks to meet the unique needs of Atlanta by using their diverse strengths together to amplify impact through their global network.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our hub has 2 application cycles, one in Fall and one in Spring. Applications are only accepted for a limited time during this period. To check whether applications are open, visit our Contact Us page.

    If you are interested in joining but the application period is closed, you can submit an interest form here.

    Accepted applicants with then go through two rounds of interviews before a final determination is made by the executive team. Acceptance letters will be sent out no later than 2 weeks after the applicant’s final interview.

  • The Atlanta hub is centered around executing projects to help our community. Upon acceptance into the hub, new members go through a 3 month probationary period where they will be engaged with group ‘mini-projects’. These projects can serve as a starting ground for other projects and initiatives. Upon completion of the probation period, our new members either choose to continue and expand on their mini-projects or join any other ongoing initiatives.
